*Please note that by MA law, clients must be physically located within the state of Massachusetts during our sessions*
Telehealth video sessions will take place online via Simple Practice's secure telehealth platform. Depending on if you are going to be using a computer or a phone during the appointment, you will receive a reminder email or text 24-48 hours before the appointment, which will include a unique link. If you are going to be using your phone or a tablet you will need to download the "Telehealth by Simple Practice" app beforehand.
A few minutes before the start of your session time, click on the link you received in the reminder email/text and you will be able to “check in” to the online waiting room. I will then start the session at our scheduled time. If you have access to a computer, the connection tends to be better than using a smartphone for video sessions. During sessions, please try to be in a location where you can have privacy and minimal distractions (using headphones may also be helpful). The latest version of Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge can be used for browsers. Your device may require you to turn on ("allow") the use of your camera and microphone in your device settings. If you have any technical difficulties you can always call me at 978-921-1088, so we can troubleshoot together.
Each telehealth video link is specific to that one appointment, so please always use the link that is located in the text/email reminder for your upcoming appointment (not from a previous reminder).
